No no no. Find ur local hydro store, they should be able to give u the info u need. Good Luck Peace Out
Miracle Grow may work, but you should cut the concentration to 1/4 strength, and occasionally flush with rain water or reverse osmosis water to remove salt accumulation. The main problem with Miracle Grow is that it lacks calcium. Adding dolomite lime to the coir will provide calcium without causing a pH spike as dolomite buffers toward a neutral pH. Coir is pH neutral and contains some nutrients. Peat moss is acidic but contains no nutrients. Coir is easy to re-wet, whereas peat requires immersion in a container of water if it dries out. I add coir to commercial potting mixes to avoid that problem. Specific chemical nutrient levels are a problem of hydroponic systems that use a free-draining, non-nutritive media such as rockwool, clay pellets, or coir alone. Using a quality potting soil with coir provides a buffering action that mitigates nutrient and pH swings, and it can be reused. I think using organic nutrient solutions is also better than pure chemical solutions.
