The power cable for my DELL laptop AC adapter just got burned. I read the power that the desktop cable transmits. It is the same as my laptop's power cable. Is there a real risk if I use it?
it is not good to use it like that, a new cable will be much better.
Hi solomon, It is not recommended to use a desktop power cable for supplying power to laptop as it might cause damage to AC adapter as well as laptop. You may purchase a power supply cable at a nominal charge from a local electronics store. Thanks Regards, Sundeep B
