Can lightning strike at the same place twice?
Go to the hardware store buy some lock deicer. That should help. If not see if the lock turns easy (With the key) when the door is open. There could be some ice or frost that keeps the door from closing properly. The cold may cause the door frame to move a little become harder to lock close because the lock don't line up as well.
Assuming the lighting is good, any will work. Please keep in mind that a cell phone or smart phone is a phone. Anything else is a convenience feature. A camcorder is a camcorder designed to capture video and audio. Substituting a phone to capture video is like substituting a 4 door sedan for a truck. Compare the lens diameter on a smartphone with the lens diameter on a camcorder. Then compare the sizes (physical size, not megapixel count) of the imaging sensor. And while your here, consider the data rate of the smartphone video compared to a decent camcorder. I can assure you my Sony NEX-EA50UH will dance circles around any smartphone video quality. Granted, the smartphone may be smaller and convenient for certain things - but I can shoot for over 6 hours straight on a single battery and single memory card at highest quality You can consider much of the same when comparing a smartphone to a pocket point and shoot camera, bridge camera or dSLR. The lens diameter, imaging chip, and all sorts of other features will blow a smartphone out of the water. This does NOT mean some smartphones can do a fine job - They can - but they are nowhere near meant to be an equal or better substitute for a purpose built piece of electronic equipment designed primarily for image capture. To think otherwise is naive - and you'll be setting yourself up for failure. Based on your short list, flip a coin a few times. Their secondary capabilities will all be about the same. Even I use my smartphone for certain video and stills - but certainly not for anything important unless it is all I have
