no- sofa means ''couch''. a couch is a piece of furniture in the living room. it has nothing to do with living. and there is no other meaning for living' other than 'living.
The words sofa and living are related only when speaking of the piece of the furniture in one's living room. sofa : couch, an upholstered seat with room for two or more people. living : pertaining to life, or the quality of being alive.
