Question:

Can some one please help me with this chemistry question?

A, a white solid is common in mineral on the west coast of Newfoundland called dolomite. When a sample of pure A is heated decomposes to give white solid, B, and a colorless acidic gas, C, when D, a basic gas, and C are dissolved in concentrated sea water a white solid, E, precipitates. E was mixed with some flour, salt, butter and water and stirred into a thick paste. when heated in an oven it produced a bread like substance, due to the production of C . when b is treated with water a lot of heat is produced along with F. a white solid slightly soluble in water to give a basic solution.SO far i know when dolomite decomposes MgO + CaO + CO2 is yeild. the colorless gas is carbon dioxide

Answer:

only if you can get it up to 230 degrees otherwise it doesn't straighten very good and it wont last very long.straightening your hair without serum will damage your hair over time. you can just get a hair serum from the supermarket and it will be fine just put it on before you start straightening. a good hair straightener is GHD.
Its very good. :) It makes your hair look soft and silky. :)
E is baking soda, NaHCO3. This is formed when carbon dioxide (C) is dissolved in brine, and ammonia is added. Thus, D is ammonia, NH3. Baking soda decomposes when heated, forming Na2CO3 and CO2. A is either MgCO3 or CaCO3. When you heat either of these, you release CO2 and form the oxide. MgO and CaO react vigorously with water and form the hydroxides. Mg(OH)2 is insoluble and precipitates, but Ca(OH)2 is slightly soluble. F is said to be slightly soluble, meaning it is Ca(OH)2. This means B is CaO and A is CaCO3. A: CaCO3 B: CaO C: CO2 D: NH3 E: NaHCO3 F: Ca(OH)2
