Question:

Can the medium frequency furnace be made of silicon carbide crucible?

Can the medium frequency furnace be made of silicon carbide crucible?

Answer:

Unable. The principle of the medium frequency furnace heating is that the magnetic metal material is used to experience the rapid alternating magnetic field produced by the electromagnetic induction coil, and the vortex effect caused by the limited fast oscillation of the magnetic domain body of the magnetic field is generated, and the high temperature heating is generated.
With a graphite crucible or a tungsten crucible and tantalum crucible, these crucibles can be heated by sensing themselves, but the graphite may contaminate your glass melt, while the tungsten crucible and tantalum crucible are too expensive.
Glass is non-magnetic, can not be magnetic induction heating. And the silicon carbide crucible can not be heated because of the magnetic induction heating. So, no way.
