Question:

Can this cause a fire? ?

I cannot sleep with the lights totally off, although I am 20! Therefore, I cover the light bulb with a sweater or any piece of clothing. I'm always worried that it will burn the sweater and cause a fire. Can this cause a fire? Should I start using a nightlight instead?

Answer:

well when i had my baby shower in 2006 i had people give me crib and my boyfriends mom go car seat and stroller.. but i never did any registers people just got closes and wipes and other baby stuff. but good luck.. well you can put what ever you want on the registry but i know a lot of people don't use them.. but go ahead and put anything you want on it.. but i would put the big stuff on there too just incase some one does want to get that stuff for you but most of the time its the partents of the new parents who gets that big stuff.. good luck
Honestly, you need to put ANYTHING EVERYTHING you need for your baby (regardless of price) on your registry Seriously. It's not being selfish or asking people to purchase those items but you never know what some people will be willing to buy you, especially your family members. I put everything on mine including the travel system which was close to 300 dollars and my parents bought it for me, surprisingly! I was so thankful for that and they WANTED to buy me something big because it was their first grandbaby I also like to have everything on the registry so you can use it as a checklist before your baby is born After your baby shower you can pull up your registrey and see what you got and what you didnt' and then go from there to purchase whatever else you need off of your own registry. Oh and also, babies r us gives you 10% off anything else you need from your registry they send you a coupon for it in the last couple of weeks before your due date so you can take it in and use it to get the discount on anything from your registry that you didnt' get at your babyshower. So it's worth it to put stuff on there just for that, especially the big stuff.
Don't register for clothes. and really i would hold off on buying any yourself. people love to gift clothes. register for everything you think you will need or use and things you want. even if no one gets it for you, babies r us will let you purchase the unpurchased items from your registry at a 10% discount.
download it should start to put things right. .
on my registry: pack-n-play sheets, crib sheets, wipe warmer, burp clothes, baby bath stuff, bibs, safety things like cabinet locks and receptacle covers, first aid kit, boppy, bottles, bath towels and wash clothes, nursery items that go with the colors of the room, shopping cart cover, little toys for the car seat and stroller, baby spoons, just practical things. anything over $50 we already have. make sure you specify what size clothes you want. you don't want everything to be size 0-3 months when the baby will grow ut of them very fastand you don't want a 3-6 month jacket when the baby wont need a jacket until 9 months. ask for diapers mostly sized 1-3again, you wont need many newborn sized diapers. my friend has 3 kids and none of them were born small enough for newborn diapers. oh and about the shopping cart coveri got called a purell mom for wanting one of those to protect my baby from the germs. i actually want one because the shopping cart seat is really uncomfortable and the shopping car cover is very cushiony and soft. )
