I have a cookie sheet that I don't want to place the cookies dough directly on, so, I was wondering if it would be ok if I covered it with aluminum foil before I baked the cookiesAlso, would it be ok if I baked the cookies on an aluminum covered pot/pan? I plan on buying a better cookies sheet for future cookie adventures, but this in a pinch. Thanks:)
Blankets are insulatorsThat means they keep heat from escaping, but the heat is coming from your body, not the blanket itself.
They DOThe difference is, the rate of transfer of heat is VERY slow with a decent blanketSo the warmth of your body is unable to drain away rapidlyIf you had a block of iron at the same temperature as the blanket and touched it, it would feel cold because the heat from your hand is transferred rapidly to it.
I agree with Nc J - you can use the foil but spray it firstEven better tho would be to use parchment paper (should be in the same section of the grocery store as the foil)Your cookies won't stick, it's better for the environment, reusable, clean up will be a snap and you'll love the end result so much that you'll want to use it even when you have brand new cookie sheets!
