Question:

can you bake salmon and thinly sliced potatoes in the same baking pan?

would i have to wrap the sliced potatoes along with the salmon in the same aluminum foil? would the potatoes cook through if i wrapper them? does salmon have to be wrapped when you bake it or can you just bake it on top of foil without wrapping it? i don't have any liquids like white wine to pour in the baking panhowever i do have pineapple juice.

Answer:

Vegetables do not have a lot of proteinEat quorn or other meat substitutes, they are naturally very high in protein and very low in fat, they are extremely good for youAlso different types of beans are high in protein and FULL of fibre, you could just have baked beans or broad, runners, kidney ectThey are yummy and verrrrrrrrrrrrry good for you.
I definitely prefer fresh vegetables moreI don't like all the acid generally in most fruits.
Fruits are developed from the ovary in the base of the flower, and contain the seeds of the plant.
If you're eating a lot/variety of vegetables, I don't see how you can't be getting enough fiberIn general, vegetables contain a lot of celluloseHumans can't digest celluloseIt passes though our system as fiber Protein is a different story, as is iron, but apparently you're not concerned about ironProtein is made up of amino acidsYour body makes some amino acids; the rest must come from your dietAnimal products, eggs, dairy, meat, contain all the amino acids needed for complete proteinIf you don't eat any of those, you'll need to eat a lot and a wide variety of veggies every day (not every meal) so your body can combine the amino acids each contains into the complete protein it needs to grow and functionDepending on your gender and age, you'll need 40-50 grams of complete protein a dayBTW, one serving of beans, lentils, peas, etc, every day is important because they contain one amino acid, lysineThree servings is better.
Yes, yes, no, wrapped or unwrappedUse the pineapple juiceWrapping the salmon in foil is actually a method of steaming, better know as Salmon en Pappiote (the salmon can also be wrapped in parchment paper)I personally think you should roast the sliced potatoesToss them is a bowl with a little olive oil, salt, pepper and dillThen, spread them on a sheet pan and bake them at 350 F until they start to get crispyThe salmon should be baked at a high temp (400-425 F)Cooking it quickly at a high temp will keep it from getting dried outCompletely sealing the salmon is foil will help keep it nice and moistAdd a little of the pineapple juice and maybe a dab of butter if you have itBake at the temps I recommended for about 20 minSince the salmon and potatoes require different temps, cook the potatoes firstYou can reheat them in the same oven when the salmon has about 5 minbefore its done.
