Yeah I'm doing a science project which is due in a couple of hours and I need to know some background information on aluminum, parchment, and non-stick pans and how or why you can bake with them.
Parchment paper is nonstickYou can use it to bake and microwave withYou can not use it with direct heat or it will catch fireI use it for lining baking and cookie pansFoil: You can use foil to line baking and cookie sheetsI spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray to help keep things from stickingYou can use foil with direct heat such as broiling or barbecuing Nonstick pans: Pans that are covered with Teflon, Silverstone or other nonstick coatingThey come in a variety of types including saucepans and skilletsThey can be used over an open flame or in the oven.
I'm gonna guess 6160 because it's a very popular Al series and the only one I know by numberDon't you have some metallurgy text to help you with this?
make sure the rod is not been heat treatedHeat treated and some aluminum only have 4 % elongation and will fracture if bent to an extreme enough ngle
