Question:

can you help fill in the gaps? blast furnace?

Three different materials are put in at the top. They are;1.Iron , the main one of which is called , which is mainly iron . To turn this into metal the must be removed. Taking away is called reduction.2. which is mainly the element .This acts as a fuel and also combines with gas to make monoxide. This monoxide reduces the iron ore by taking the away from the iron.3.Calcium carbonate in the form of . this decomposes to calium which reacts with impurities such as to form which is goes the furnace.Blown in through tubes lower down is hot . This provides the so that the can burn and form monoxide. Two things come out from the bottom of the furnace;1.Right at the bottom molten comes out. This is mainly turned into which is used in cars and .2.Floating on top is which is used in roadbuilding.can you plz fill in the gaps.this isnt homework by the way

Answer:

You have multiple options. One, buy a heater, or invest in thicker walls. Two, turn on or light anything you think will give off heat, and wear multiple layers and thick/many blankets. Three, is this your room? and if so, are you living with parents? if yes, COMPLAIN. if no, move or take one of the other two options.
Assuming your talking about your bedroom id say just buy a high tog rated quilt or if you have more than one already put 2 or more on .Don't use candles there not good if your asleep and i doubt they give much heat.
There is no point in spending money trying to heat the room, any heat to try to put into it is going to escape just as fast. You need to sort the problem out at the source! If you are renting then complain to your landlord, if she/he refuses to do anything about it then you can get your local council office involved.

1. Iron ore, the main one of which is called haematite [also magnetite], which is mainly iron oxide. To turn this into iron metal the oxygen must be removed. Taking oxygen away is called reduction. 2. .Coke which is mainly the element carbon .This acts as a fuel and also combines with hot carbon dioxide gas to make carbon monoxide. This carbon monoxide reduces the iron ore by taking the oxygen away from the iron. 3. Calcium carbonate in the form of limestone, this decomposes to calcium oxide which reacts with impurities such as sand [silica] to form slag [calcium silicate] which goes to the bottom of the furnace. Blown in through tubes lower down is hotair This provides the oxygen so that the coke can burn and form carbon monoxide. Two things come out from the bottom of the furnace; 1. Right at the bottom molten iron comes out. This is mainly turned into steel which is used in cars and washing machines, fridges etc 2. Floating on top is slag which is used in roadbuilding.
