Can you help? I need an EASY Key Lime Pie recipe?
Green Stuff ( Lime Jello Fruit Salad ) 10 min | 10 min prep | SERVES 15 -20 Ingredients 1 (24 ounce) container low-fat small-curd cottage cheese 1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed 1 cup mini marshmallows (colored) 1 (3 ounce) package lime Jell-O gelatin 3 (11 ounce) cans mandarin orange segments (sometimes I use 4) 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits Directions 1Blend cottage cheese, and lime jello together, then fold in Cool Whip until well mixed. 2Fold in the 1 cup of mini marshmallows. (I use about 3/4 cup). 3Drain fruit and fold into mixture last. 4Refrigerate overnight for best flavor.
Sounds a lot like Pacific Lime Mold - we ate it so much in college we called it Specific Slime Mould. Only we used Mayo instead of Cool Whip. Dissolve 2 pkgs of lime jello in 2 c. boiling water. Add about 1 1/2 cups juice from canned pineapple. Chill until thickened. Beat until frothy. Fold in a can of crushed pineapple, 2 c creamy cottage cheese and 1 c. mayonnaise. Chill until firm.
WHIPPED LIME JELLO SALAD 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jello 1 c. hot water (Heat up drained pineapple juice for part of liquid.) Mix. Stir until well dissolved. Set until jelly-like consistency then carefully whip with electric mixer. 1/2 pkg. (4 oz.) cream cheese 1 tbsp. salad dressing 1 can (15 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 c. whipping cream Whip cream until stiff. Add cream cheese and salad dressing. Mix in Jello and blend thoroughly. Fold in pineapple and nuts. Put into a pretty glass serving bowl. Top with red Jello. TOPPING: 1 (3 oz.) pkg. red Jello 1 c. hot water Mix and stir until dissolved. When cooled and thick syrupy, spread on top of above salad.
Here's my family recipe we've been making for years. Originally came from a community cookbook. Marge's Quick Salad 1 Large carton cottage cheese 1 Large package of lime jello 1 can crushed pineapple 1 Large container Cool Whip 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Combine all ingredients together. Do not drain fruit or add water to jello. Refridgerate for 1 hour or longer. Can be made ahead and kept overnight in fridge.
We've been making this one for Xmas/Thanksgiving since I was a little kid. It's called Lime Gelatin And Cottage Cheese Salad it's delicious: 1 sm. pkg. lime gelatin 1 sm. pkg. lemon gelatin 2 cups boiling water 1 No.2 can crushed pineapple, drained 1 12 oz. carton cottage cheese 1 cup mayonnaise 1 can condensed milk 1 cup finely chopped nuts 2 heaping tbls. horseradish 3 tbls. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. salt Dissolve the gelatin in hot water let stand until cool; add pineapple. Blend cheese with mayonnaise until smooth add to gelatin mixture. Add all other ingredients stir until mixture begins to congeal. Pour into molds place in refrigerator overnight. Serves 16.
