Any electrical motor uses magnet. People use magnets to stick up notes on the Mattel surface(refrigerator, they are made by ceramic process). Some toys have them( some were recalled recently). --------. ********************** Walk around the home with a small magnet and put it on various items, if the magnet sticks very likely the material is magnetic, under some condition it means it can be made to act like a magnet. If a pen is made of magnetic material and if you clip it to your shirt pocket and move around with it, it will become a magnate in few days for sure if not in few hours, you can pick a single staple with it. Most pens are a light magnet.
