Well, the Fusion is a bigger car than either the Cruze or the tC, so that will make it more safe from the get-goAs for faster acceleration, the V6 sport Fusion has far more power and although it carries more weight, it has the power and torque to out-accelerate the tCAnd just as an FYI to the guy with a Celica GT-S, the GT-S Celica came with the 2ZZ-GE, a 180hp N/A 1.8L VVTiThe tC is a 2AZ-FE 2.4L 180hpFor reliability, well, Toyota has a wonderful reputation with reliability.For engines blowing up due to sludge buildup (even with proper oil changes!)Ford doesn't have that problemOther models of cars had problems, but the Fusion seems to be pretty trouble freeAnd as for mileage, the Cruze will probably get the best mileage since it's the lowest powered, worst built and just an evolution of the Cavalier that was dreadful in 1999The Fusion is probably the worst, but the V6 would even get 30mpg highway.
