I've had the copper coil for 5 months my last 3 periods were heavy and lasted 12 days but my last period was not has heavy and lasted 7 days. Has anybody else experienced this? Did anybody bleed mid cycle and did their cycle go from 28 days to 31 days. cheers.
A copper coil is bad news and can make you unable to ever get pregnant. I had one and it gave me endometriosis and also periods every 14 days.Imho you should Have it removed and have a different type called a Mirena. This stops your periods altogether. I was fortunate that I had my son before I had the copper coil. I was able to get pregnant twice after I had it removed but unfortunately I miscarried both times.
