Question:

Car ac is not blowing enough cold air, after changing evaporator?

My 2001 ford ranger was leaking ac gas and you could hear it coming from the 'black box' under the hood where the 2 aluminium tubes go intoThe mecanic said it's the evaporator and he changed it (I have the old evaporator now)The problem is that it doesnt blow enough cold air nowThe pressure of the r134 gas is ok and the compressor kicks in goodAny ideas what the problem might be? The only thing I hear now, is like a paper is hitting the blower that's also in the same box of the evaporator.

Answer:

A new dryer and orifice are warranted with this job!
No their not Good their GreatI bought mine in the 70's but it was all steel in 45acpI put a Olympic adjustable sight on mineComfortable to carry and very accurateI think I paid between $200 and $300 Dollars for it at the time brand new.
Are they any good? Hell, they're the best you can getThey are so good because they are well made and all the parts are properly heat treated, unlike many imported 1911's.
