is there a car alarm i can put on my car that doesnt need automatic door locks?
Check with your local vendors and research via Google. What you need depends on what you want it to do.
Pretty much any alarm unit could be utilized, it's just a matter of not connecting/disabling the wires leading from/to the lock solenoids. Just curious what is your concern for the alarm use? If it is for theft, and your car is 2000 or newer chances are it has a transponder system in place. Best course of action is to visit an auto accessories shop. Good Luck --IC
