my truck already came with remote start, i am looking for an alarm that has the 2 way pager that alerts you when you alarm has been set off. is there an alarm out there that can work with what i have from the factory?
no, because most cars don't really have an alarm system per say, they have keyless entry and can sound the horn if a door is opened, a car alarm has sensors that can tell if a window has been broken or the car is being moved (stealing your rims), and keyless entry does nothing if your window is broken out or your car is jacked up they can hook up an alarm to the car and still keep your remote start but you may need to have two separate key fobs
put the tires back on and lower the car enough so the wheel wont spin
i heard of an alarm system that can alert you through your cell phone, i dont know how much money though, and if it is compadible with your car but i believe that it would work, just go to one of your local car alarm places and ask about it
