Question:

Carbon monoxide problem? ?

We have been living in our house for about 5 months now, and the fire alarms have never gone off. Just 10minutes ago both of them went off, one and then it stopped and then about 20minutes later the next one upstairs. Me and my mum thought it could be carbon monoxide but we have a carbon monoxide detector which should turn black if there is a presence of it. However, the detector has been here since we moved in abd we don't know if it would still be working So any suggestions?

Answer:

well if you go mountain rideing then you need long jeans or something equal to it to portect your legs from rocks and bumps but road I my self use short shrit and shorts hope this helps god bless you
this is because of point discharge. The sharper tha point then the greater the discharge rate - so a rounded end will not have such a great discharge. As the charge from the ground is leaking off the point the charge in the cloud is more likely to be attracted to earth at that point rather than a rounded rod.
Dear Dobert, your name is dangerously close to mine. Please change it.
Have you tried contacting a Pregnancy Help Center in your area? They can provide counseling, classes, and prenatal care and sometimes baby supplies for free. Also, the only one who is really able to help you is YOU. You need to get a job - you can search online and apply. Pregnant women can safely work part-time at most jobs and many places are hiring temporarily for the holiday season - but you have to hurry, they stop accepting applications after Monday! You don't need college to stock shelves at a clothing store or be a cashier and you certainly don't need college to work part time as a janitor, which is a fairly easy job that usually pays more than $10/hour. Working part-time would allow you to make money to pay down your debt, give you a sense of purpose, meet new friends, and still allow plenty of time for you to go to your prenatal appointments. I worked as a sales associate until the last week of my pregnancy and I'm so glad that I did. If you want respect in this world you need to go out and work for it and EARN it. If you want a better life, then work for it. Your baby should be the biggest motivation to do this.
