Can i make the CAT 5 speaker cable, explained on many websites, as a 4 gauge power wire from my battery to my amp?

ohh h*ll no! theres no way in h*ll that wud work, those wires would overheat and melt so fast with the amount of power that needs to be flowing through them. 4 guage wire is reasonably cheap. do it right, don't blow your car up
dude just go get 2 gauge speaker wire and hook up a fuse block b4 the amp and ur set
