What is the Difference between a Solid Check engine Light -vs- a Flashing check engine light ???
had a 4.6 crown victoria did that and it was a bad coil
not sure of the difference. but something is about to go on the engine, need to get checked out
a flashing check engine light means your car is misfiring. a solid check engine light could be anything, from an mass air flow sensor to not tighting the gas cap.
Could you PLEASE tell us the year, make, model and engine size. This will simplify everything.
