I'm moving out of my apartment in a couple weeks and i have these plastic-like window blinds around the place. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get these things clean without taking them down? They're supposed to be white but I'm noticing a couple yellowish-brownish stains on them. I've tried all sorts of chemicals to try and get these things cleaned. No luck at all.
Use a blind brush to get rid of any dust, then put warm water and 2 teaspoons of vinegar in. Vinegar is a natural cleaner. (Maybe use febreeze on them after to get rid of the smell) How are doing?
I have the same problem with mine. I've tried everything! Cleaning products you use to clean the kitchen and floors, vinegar, bleach, Oxiclean, etc... Nothing I've tried has even faded the stains. I have finally given up and believe the only way to get rid of the stains, is to replace the blinds with new ones.
