I was wondering, is there any CNC machine that uses virtual 3D files from Computer to shape an Aluminium block FROM ALL SIX SIDES, completely without any human interaction ?For example: we transfer the 3D file, place the block, and wait for it produce the 3D model autonomously?
if you install power chip it does void your warranty but i see your just about out of war.
Yes and noCNC can make 3D shapes, but the machine needs something it can hold onto to position the piece relative to the cutting toolIt cannot make a finished 3D shape like a sculptor wouldThe design must incorporate a base or frame of some sort to allow the piece to be held by the machine and to make the piece rigid enough as to not bend or move when the cutting tool is engaging the materialThere will always be some finishing required, possibly more so then when casting the same shape.
