Because the large size bevel gears are difficult to manufacture, the bevel gears are always used as the high speed stage (smaller load) of the conical cylindrical gear reducer to reduce their size, so that the manufacturing accuracy can be improved
When the transmission ratio is not large (i=1~6), the single stage bevel gear reducer is adopted. When the transmission is relatively large, the two stage (i=6~35) or three (i=35~208) cone gear reducer is adopted.
Single stage bevel gear reducer and two stage conical cylindrical gear reducer are used in the transmission which requires input shaft and output shaft to be configured with 90 degrees
