im cooking a beef chuck roast, two and a half pounds, in the oven todayCan anyone tell me a good temp and time to use?

Preheat the oven to 325°FUsing heavy-duty aluminum foil, rip off a piece large enough to go around your roast and have about 12 left overCenter the roast on the foilAdd whatever seasonings you like: Salt pepper Sliced onions A packet of onion soup mix A packet of tomato soup mix Italian seasoning A cup of barbecue sauce (KC Masterpiece is good) or whatever you like for seasoningAdd potatoes, onions, and/or carrots if you like Then fold the foil over the meat so the two ends meetFold the edges over and over (drugstore wrap) until they are loosely against the meatThen fold each side in the same wayThe idea is to create an air-tight packagePlace the foil package onto a shallow baking sheet (just in case it leaks) and put it in the oven for 2 hours.
