Question:

copper, HELP PLEASE!!!!!?

who discovered copper?when was it discovered?what country?bonds with what compounds?any other information?

Answer:

Copper has been used for over 10,000 years. Nobody knows who or when because it was so very long ago....before people figured out alphabets and writing. Archeologists have found a copper pendant in what is now northern Iraq that dates to 8700 BC. However, copper has been found in many other countries around the world, so it is equally impossible to pin-point any one country, except to say that it was NOT any country of today. Copper(I) compounds: copper(I) chloride, copper(I) bromide, copper(I) iodide, copper(I) oxide. Copper(II) compounds: copper(II) acetate, copper(II) carbonate, copper(II) chloride, copper(II) hydroxide, copper(II) nitrate, copper(II) oxide, copper(II) sulfate, copper(II) sulfide, copper(II) tetrafluoroborate, copper(II) triflate. Copper(III) compounds, rare: potassium hexafluorocuprate Copper(IV) compounds, extremely rare: caesium hexafluorocuprate
google it!!!!
copper was found before history was written, it's been used for over ten thousand years. it wasn't really found in one place, but it was named after the island of Cyprus, so i guess that would be a good choice. it binds with sulfates, oxygen, cyanide, chlorine, and many other elements
I think I would rater eat copper than PVC. Most new homes have PVC pipes because of the cost of copper has gone up. I bet that copper would win for having less pipe damage with frozen pipes.
