My question is, since I no longer use the factory amp and don't really care if I can use the steering wheel controls (getting remote with new radio), can I use a simple regular wire harness or do I still have to get one meant for premium sound systems? Also, the car had a double din navigation unit, the new unit will also be a double din unit, would I need a sleeve, or would it simply slide in replacing the stock radio? Why not just replace the speakers also? you're input is good with the amp you installed but the output is still those cheap factory speakers.
