Call your local tire retailers and ask them. Only their opinion counts since they will be the ones taking your money, not a bunch of strangers on the internet who can and will tell you anything since they have no stake in it and can freely make stuff up.
Never buy used tires. The price/mile is higher on used tires than on new tires and used tires are never checked correctly to see if they're still safe to use (they have to be x-rayed to see if the carcass is still properly intact). If your life and that of your passengers means anything to you, don't go for it!!
