Question:

Cricket Service ---T-Mobile phone?

A FRIEND RECENTLY GAVE ME A T-MOBILE PHONE THE DASHER. MY PHONE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY WITH CRICKET. CAN I GET THIS PHONE TURNED ON WITH CRICKET?

Answer:

Yes, but data is slower than dialup.
Sorry but no, They are two different service types, Cricket is CDMA (doesnt use a sim card) and Tmobile is GSM (sim card required) there are two companys that you can swap service with cricket. US celullar and Verizon.
You can now transfer some of the T-Mobile phones to Cricket in 2015.
No, it will NOT work. Cricket's phones and network are CDMA, which don't use sim cards. T-Mobile's phones and network are GSM, which requires a sim card in order to work. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other. Even if you get the phone unlocked, it will not work with a CDMA provider. Cricket will only activate phones that are Cricket branded. They will not activate a phone from a different CDMA provider since the ESN number will not be in their database of their phones.
thats a good question and I hope you find valuable answers
