it all depends how hard the drop was. I have seen thing get loose and the reception was affected.
it completely depends on what phone you have. certain phones are actualy designed to stand up against dropping your phone and other damages. on the other hand, some phones are so fragile that dropping it from high enough at the right angle could destroy the screen or the whole phone.
