Question:

dashboard warning lights?

i have a 1997 toyota 4runner limited ... today a green light showed up on the bottom right corner of the dashboard. it looks like a sideways quot;Hquot; or a capital quot;iquot; with the lines across the top and the bottom .. then there are dots at the top and bottom where the vertical line intersects with the horizontal lines, and also at the ends of the horizontal lines. there's nothing about this light in the manual, and i've been googling the warning lights for hours but i just can't seem to find this one. does anyone know what it means?

Answer:

since its a green light, its probly not a warning light. you should have a amber light reading TCS for traction control. im not familiar with your light.
I believe that would be a warning light for the traction control system. The first thing I would do if it were my car would be to disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes and see if doing that will reset the system and turn the light off. If not you should have it checked out by a reputable mechanic.
