I was trying to get rid of my full size bed because Im moving into my apartment in April. But for some reason I can't get rid of it lol Anyway. I was thinking of puttingi t in my living room turning it into a sofa.... any ideas how I can decorate it to give it that sofa look?
A full size bed will be too wide to sit on. Your legs will stick out straight in front of you rather than bend like on a regular sofa, sell it. Then look on craigslist again and find a nice used sofa for your living room.
If you can sew, make bolsters to go against the wall at the back, and matching upholstered cushions and spread. You could build a frame to put it on that gives support to back and sides for regular pillows to be used as bolsters or cushions. It would be a very Middle-Eastern thing to have in your living room. This may be why you can't get rid of it - not many people like to buy used beds because of transfer of mites, body fluids, old skin cells and even bedbugs.
