The article seems to be full of contridictory statements: Yet, in its paper, the Met Office claimed that the consequences now would be negligible – because the impact of the sun on climate is far less than man-made carbon dioxide. Although the sun’s output is likely to decrease until 2100, ‘This would only cause a reduction in global temperatures of 0.08C.’ Peter Stott, one of the authors, said: ‘Our findings suggest a reduction of solar activity to levels not seen in hundreds of years would be insufficient to offset the dominant influence of greenhouse gases.’ Strange they don't give a link to the original paper. I am guessing because they are misrepresenting what the paper says and it would not be the first time that the Daily Mail has done that.
By all means get it checked out, go to Ford, they know the car best. If the noise is tinny , you may have bent a brake shield that would only need a slight adjustment.It also could be way serious, so do not fool with it, get it checked, you do not want to be driving a car that may be dangerous. Next time, watch out for the speed bump, they put them there to slow down the nitwits who blast through plaza and mall parking lots. Be careful.
