Question:

Did I blow a speaker?

I plugged my speaker input (Left/Right) wires into a 110 volt plug. There was a very loud POP and the speaker no longer works. I took the speaker apart and it looks ok. What could be broken inside the speaker itself?

Answer:

Yes. Without seeing it, no one can know. You likely blew out some part, perhaps the crossover, but if none of it is working, then it's serious. You need to ask this of a local audio repair shop.
You blew the capacitors in the crossover. What on Earth possessed you to pull such a stupid stunt?
Why in hell would you plug the speaker into a power outlet? Obviously you blew all the solid state components in your speaker. Coil and cone may be ok but the electronics are fried.
