Difference between coiled tube and water tube boiler?

Difference between coiled tube and water tube boiler?

Answer:

In principle they are the same. The water is on the inside of the tubes and the heat source is on the outside. Coil tube boilers tend to be used for smaller services such as building heat or small industrial applications. Water tube boilers are more common for power generation applications and very large industrial plants such as a chemical plant.
The basic difference is that the coiled tube boiler heats the fluid in a serial manner, and the water tube boiler heats in a parallel manner. Because of the difference the water tube boiler is more economical of space and can be used where large volumes of fluid are to be heated.
