Question:

Do fireman have any credibility?

Noone seems to think so when they hear the firemen say they heard multiple explosions throughout the towers. or that they could have put out two pockets of fires on the 78th floor with just two hoses. didnt even need a heat detector. The ( the firemen) said they heard explosions in the basement on other floors.all over.they must not be very credible then to dissagree with the republican true account?

Answer:

The Patriot Act is not really even about terrorism. Just as the War on Drugs was never really about drugs. Both programs' purposes were really to give the government more power, to give more options to police and prosecutors, and take power away from judges and defendants. To erode the Bill of Rights. And both performed perfectly for their real intended purposes. The War on Drugs allowed cops to just stop people on the street for no cause and question them. They could break down doors. They could tap phones without a warrant. They could present illegally-gathered evidence in court. They could confiscate money, property, and other assets without due process. This was all said to be necessary to stop the spread of drugs, but as you can see it had no effect in that area. What it -did- do was erode our constitutional protections. The War on Terror can be seen as nothing more than a follow-up, extending government's power to imprisonment without charges or access to a lawyer or a public trial or any other due process. Of course Republicans are now bashing Obama for all of this. But it's pretty clear (to me at least) that both of these 'wars'drugs -and- terrorwere engineered by Republican presidents, who bashed anyone who criticized as anti-American.
