Question:

Do most clubs/bars in Dublin accept provisional driving licences as ID?

I know different places and different bouncers will have different rules but I‘m looking for a general answer Places like diceys and coppers in particular? Would they accept a provisional driving licence as ID? I‘m a girl if it matters. I don‘t really see why they wouldn‘t as it‘s clearly photo ID but I‘ve heard of places not accepting licences so I‘m just wondering.I lost my passport don‘t have an age card sorted yet. I am from a smaller rural county and clubs where I am accept licences but I‘d imagine cities would have stricter policies

Answer:

Learner drivers and new drivers tend to stand out via the way theychronic nervously and do so much extra whilst being accompanied via a Police vehicle. the probabilities of her being stopped are honestly very severe. utilising different than in accordance along with her licence and invalid coverage because of the fact of that - all could lead to very super high priced tears
no, they won't even accept it in Tesco to buy alcohol. It's Passport only. It would be worth getting a new passport to have it for ID
No they don't as a rule, too easy to forge. My son is nearly 19 got refused entry to a nightclub last night even with his provisional licence passport. He's going to download the Garda age card get that he's fed up with it not being allowed in.
