Question:

Do they make gold leaf in colors besides gold, silver, etc?

I am looking for a solid color green gold leaf, but so far have seen only the standard colors (gold, silver) and a few that are colored but have a Kaleidoscope effectDo they make leaf in a variety of colors? Is it called something else?

Answer:

I'd use a fairly dense stitch, with a worsted weight acrylic yarn that washes wellI'd use a size 8 knitting needle, and if you can find a short enough one, hand stitch a zipper in the top.
Knit it out of 100% wool and felt itYou don't want links so I'll tell you to Google felted bags instead.
Gold leaf is always going to be gold Any appearances changes is because of the sizing the stuff on which the leaf is applied They make other metallic leaf, but I don't know of any that is green (copper leaf could be oxidized to that color I guess, but most copper I've seen isn't available in leaf form).
