Question:

Do you know how to make a Key-lime pie?

Would anyone care to share a recipe for Key-lime Pie? My parents are coming for christmas and that's their favorite. I know its not quite a christmas pie, but we're not very traditional when it comes to desserts.Thank you all.

Answer:

Those two things are unrelated. Putting lime juice on a tangerine tree isn#x27;t good for the tree, but will not affect the taste of the fruit. That is impossible. The issue could be that the tree genetically produces sour fruit, or it could be a nutrient deficiency (try using mineral rock dust), or it could be as simple as the fruit being immature and picked too early. If the tree was planted from a seed, it is probably never going to produce a good fruit. Fruit trees like tangerines do not come true to seed like an heirloom tomato would, they can only be propogated by cuttings or grafting. The chance of producing a good fruit from a seed is much less than from a cutting (which would be genetically identical to the tree it came from). If the tree was bought from a nursery or propogated from a cutting#x2F;graft, then it is either an issue with the soil quality or the fruit was picked too early. I would make sure that the fruit is fully ripe first.
