Whoever told you that you couldnt convert barrels is a liarI had the same gun with a 12 inch home defense barrel and a 20 inch hunting barrelYou just have to make sure you buy the barrel specific for your model.

you prob want to get a larger barrellhere in FL i think you can only have 3 shells in your gun when bird hunting so you'll have to get a plug or you'll get arrested
