Answer:

because aluminium has less electrons in its outer shell
You might be looking for paper that is FREEZER WRAPcomes like aluminum foil or waxed paper but is used for wrapping meats to be frozenIts also called Butcher Paper, which can be found at sam's club and bj's or at the local neighborhood grocery stores which have become few and far betweenGood luck in the hunt.
Aluminum Gains next noble gas configuration by loosing just 3 electrons but in platinum it have to loose or gain 4 electrons to gain next noble gas configurationNote: Aluminium is more reactive than platinum that we know by experimentsChemists give explaination after performing the experimentsNOT give explanation first and then do experimentsSo My Answer could be one of the reason but the actual reason is it is EXPERIMENTALLY VERIFIED.
i'm not really sure but i know that aluminium makes one of the most stable compounds - alumina (sapphire) Al2O3! I also know it is used for making termite (explosive) - 2Al(dust) + Fe2O3(dust) Al2O3 + Fe + tons of heat and that's why is aluminium called solid fuel!
