Question:

Do You Let Your Dog on the Sofa?

Do You Let Your Dog on the Sofa?

Answer:

Yes. We allow our dog on the sofa. We have a cover and dog blankies on it, which we take off (and I vacuum the sofa) when we have company. In fact, I just washed the cover and blankets yesterday. I would like to emphasize that it was our choice to allow the dog on the sofa, not his. When he was a pup, we taught him that the sofa was by invitation-only. As such, he is not territorial or aggressive about the sofa or anyone/anything lazing on the sofa (even the cat who hates him).
Yes, they are allowed in the coutch and in my bed, but nothing else. I have two sofas in my living room: one is newer and more confortable, the other is older, rotten and very nice, alough bigger, so I share it with my dogs and cats. I usually cover it up with a blanket because I don't like the dog fur getting stuck on it...
Yes, when I made the decision to get a puppy I wanted to offer everything, now my puppy does not shed and I do have a cover on the sofa and love seat, but always have.
Yes, I do.....the sofas, the chairs and sleeps beside me on the bed at night. I have a framed saying that in part says, The dog lives here. You don't. If you don't want dog hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. I love my dogs. Carole
YES!!!! If you don't let your dog on the sofa that just means you think your dog isn't fun or is a flea bag!! You have to show the dog that you really love him or her so they don't want to run away to a better family! That's why my dog never tries to runaway,I treat her like I should, respectfully!!!
