Funny you askedI just fixed Tilapia tonight for supperI tried something totally new for meI bought some italian seasoned panko (japanese) bread crumbs and sesame oilI prepared the tilapia by patting them in self-rising flour, then I dipped them into egg and milk wash, then I patted them into the panko crumbsHeat the sesame oil on mediumSesame oil is kind of stout so it doesn't take much, say a couple tbl spoonsThey turned out AWESOME! I will def give this one a try again.
I love tilapia, but have never baked itI just add salt and pepper, roll the fillets in egg and flour and deep fry themServed with home fries and coleslaw, it makes a great meal.
