magnetic material on the pickup coil, not alot but it was there,2000 ram 1500 5.2L question is what symptoms would this cause, i blowed it off with the air hose and i am gonna reinstall it, would this cause multipul missfires, and back firing?
in all the times i have dealt with those having shavings on the pick up wouldn't cause it to miss-fire,there's something else going on with it,you can try re-installing it but i don't think that was the problem with it,you may have a bad pcm in it,that will cause it,good luck.
