I just got a motorcycle and the law here requires DOT approved eyewear if you're on a permit like me. Does the slide-down faceshield count on my half-helmet as meeting this requirement, or do I have to get additional goggles/glasses?
The UFC finds ways to hype up opponents. People aren't giving Shields a chance simply because of the fact that he has one strength. BJJ. People that are in favor of Jake Shields forget that GSP is a black belt in BJJ as well. GSP's striking is on another level compared to shields. GSP's wrestling is world class according to MMA analysists. GSP has a black belt in Kyoshukin Karate and Gaidojitsu. If you look at GSP's previous opponents they were all hyped up. Koscheck, Penn, Hardy. And they all landed a mere 2 punches during the whole fight. Jake Shields won a split decision to Martin Kampann who is a brit. Everyone knows brits have no ground game and Kampmann knows it. Shields still couldn't submit him.

my dad was struck by lightning while playing baseball, and he says it just knocked him and everyone he was playing with down. i know it sounds wierd, but there you go. my 7th grade english teacher got struck by lightning twice, and he seemed pretty normal. he had to get steel rods in his spine though.
