I'm 16 and I don't have a way of buying anything online, so I can't buy plansBut I really want to build a boatI want to build a v-hull skiff anywhere from 14 to 20 feetI want it to be able to go relax with my girlfriend out on the water and I also want to be able to take it out fishingI would like a planing hull and not a displacement hullAlso I would prefer aluminum but I am willing to do a wooden boatSo can someone help me out? Lets be real about thisBuilding a boat isn't cheap !! If you don't have the money to purchase plans, then you can't afford to build one !! You can pick up a decent used 12 - 14' aluminum boat for a cpl hundredAdd a small outboard / trolling motor and a trailer and you are all set Check out Craig's list, E bay, your local paper etc
