Virginia before renting a condo? There is an old expired fire extinguisher underneath the sink area, but was wondering if it is a requirement to have it replaced, if at some point I decide to rent it. I am undecided about renting it now, and I guess I should get a new fire extinguisher, but would like to know if it is a law. Thanks for any info.

Safety is first so a definite is goggles. next you need lathe and some tools and also lessons because it is not easy.
I don't know what year Malibu you have. If there is a small set screw under the cylinder you can do it by using an Allen wrench. It will come out. If there is no set screw, then you have to take 3/4 of the column apart. (have it done)
