Question:

Does anyone like Oreck vacuum cleaners?

I've heard Oreck vacuum cleaners are very good and light weight, has anyone had good or bad luck with them?

Answer:

no longer in accordance to client comments! Oreck is one among their decrease rated vacuums. Their perfect purchase is Kenmore (Sears) ingenious with Direct stress 35922 that sells for $three hundred and is rated staggering for eliminating puppy hair. i do not usually purchase service guidelines, yet in case you purchase a vacuum from Sears i tips it, because they no longer in reality restore free of fee in the course of the lined era -- they check out/service your vacuum each year or maybe replace the HEPA filter out for loose even as it truly is needed.
Dyson is way better than Oreck. Dyson offers way more capabilities and are cooler to look at than a dull Oreck.
I don't know much about Oreck cleaners themselves, but the Oreck Corporation has my undying respect for what they did in the aftermath of Katrina. David Oreck made the corporate HQ (in southern LA somewhere) available for anyone who needed somewhere to live or to just ride out the storm. He continued to pay people who couldn't come to work and reopened the factory very quickly after the storm. He and his company shelled out millions and I think they deserve our business.
I, too, have great respect for David Oreck. As for his vacuum cleaner, I had one. It was expensive. It worked very well when it worked. But mine was in the shop all too frequently. They were nice about it and always fixed it. But I finally got tired of lugging it to the shop (Bad enough to have to lug a vacuum around the house). I finally gave up. But don't just go by me. Maybe I just got a bad one. That can happen with any product, even good ones.
I personally never have owned an Oreck but don't believe the commercial, I know someone who has owned a Oreck vacuum and they have had very bad luck with it and it does not even work anymore it's about two years old, and it constantly blocks up, no good, get something better, I would like to suggest a brand I have and is about five years old now and have had no problem with it is a Panasonic Vacuum they are very lightweight and easy to maneuver around the home and gets really close to the edges. I even plan on getting another Panasonic this time a bagless model Good Luck !
