Is it possible to speed up the speed of light in any way?Are there any circumstances under which light travels faster or slower?
The speed of light is a constant.It is the maximum cosmic speed limit.Yet light as such can be slower,but not faster than the speed of light.The speed of light is common to any particle without mass in a vacuum of course.It is only called speed of light because we observed it on light first.If we shine a light wave through a thick window it will be slower by a small amount.Also extreme gravity can slow it down also.
