I'm building a new computer and i have a SATA 6.0 HDD picked out but the PSU says it has SATA power cables, i was just wondering if the power connectors were the same across the board from SATA 3.0 to the new SATA 6.0.
sata power is all the same.
same interface cable, and same power source cable. YOu just have to make sure the motherboard has a 6.0 gbs slot. I just built a PC with one of these. Not a HUGE improvement, but startup is a few seconds faster.
